After a super fast start, the video views slowed down a lot, so we didn't end up crashing the game. And the final challenges actually ended up being somewhat easier than the early challenges, as I had expected the engagement to continue vaguely linearly over the 10 days.
If the video somehow picks up and goes viral in a months time, I'll add a new challenge or two just for fun :)
Too many time you only have the choices to remove existing weapons. This could be a good idea to force player to play more weapons, but if you remove you main upgraded weapon, the game is lost
Welcome to the 3rd day of pain. It's still ridiculous, but at least the velocity of the madness has slowed down somewhat. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions!
Great game, of course. My most urgent message is that the volume sliders, at zero, do not bring the volume to zero. Oops. Also, it is most painful when a skull pushes an enemy into you. Perhaps this is a necessary challenge to make skulls a less obvious choice, but perhaps making them ghost skulls instead or something could ease this problem. Or maybe that could be an upgrade card for the skulls? I think I lost half of my 8 hearts to skulls unpredictably pushing cars into my trajectory on the Day 1 challenge with 440 enemies left lolol. The pain was real.
Also if the game thinks every enemy is spawned in, you can just kill them all instantly if you get the cursed enemy wipe upgrade for a heart. I'm pretty sure there were still hundreds of enemies killed but I basically won for free on the Day 2 challenge probably about 2/3 through.
I had to roll a few patches today to stop some crashes and fix a few things. Sadly I didn't realise beforehand that the way itch handles updates means you will lose your trophies, but it was that or the game would not work at all!
Quickly looking and there doesn't seem to be any obvious easy solution to this in WebGL. I'll do my best to make sure there are no other updates unless strictly needed. If you are super concerned about losing your progress, it may be a good idea to hold off until day 10 is up, just because the dynamic nature of the game and the huge response on YouTube means I have no idea if anything else will be needed.
Day 1 is up. Uhhh.... buckle up I guess? The good news is it doesn't crash. I beat it with 2 different builds so its 100% possible. I shudder to think what the next few days will be like however!

This game is epic! My max achieved level on day 10 is 132 by taking all magnet and level up perks. Anyone else totally hooked on this? :D

Wow! So hard. Finally after many tries, Day 4 completed
Second last day is up! I managed to beat it first go, so maybe the difficulty text isn't accurate anymore :)
I also beat it on first go :D
Once the fire spell got updated so it kills with one shot and has a decent fire rate, it gets easy.

There is definitely a bug with gold bar flying around the car in circles
Yeah, this goes away if you use a faster computer (my i3 laptop was CRAZY! haha)
Ah yeah I can see why that would happen. Some sketchy code on the gold magnet logic when I was trying to make it as optimal as possible!

Too easy! There's an amusing bug with my slow laptop, the gold bars just fly EVERYWHERE constantly haha. Doesn't do it on my PC.

One thing id like is if 1 2 3 could be used to select the powerups so you dont have to use the mouse at all, and could play with one hand.
